The Career Talk activity was held by the Kestrat Student Association of Business Administration FISIP Undip on Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 12.30 pm to 16.00 pm. This activity was carried out in the form of an online seminar via the Zoom digital platform. That career talk brought the theme “Set up your profile to accelerate your future career” with discussions on corporate life, internships, and job opportunities.
Career Talk was a webinar activity that presented people who have entered the world of work ranging from business to the work outside of business which was the domain of Business Administration students. The challenge in distributing information on the world of work to students so as not to lose their way in finding suitable jobs was the reason for holding that activity. By knowing the information on the world of work that was packaged in such a way in the webinar activity, it was expected that students of the Business Administration study program would gain additional knowledge outside of the lectures and have work motivation that was increasingly embedded in them. So that, they were able to bring the change for the progress of Indonesia.
Career Talk presents 2 reliable speakers who already had a lot of experience in the career world. The first speaker was Mr. Damar Latri Setiawan. He was the Director of Networking, Operations and Sales of PT. pawnshop. Mr Damar brought material on Corporate Life. While the second speaker was Apri Rokhyadi who brought material ON Internship & Job Opportunity. Apri Rokhyadi was the Head of the Telkom Pandaan Regional Business Unit, Telekomunikasi Indonesia.
The Career Talk activity organized by the HMPS Business Administration Department of FISIP Undip received great enthusiasm from students of Undip and outside Undip. This was proven by the number of Career Talk participants who managed to touch 197 participants. In addition, the participants were also very active in asking questions related to the world of work to the two speakers.
This Career Talk event offered prizes to participants with a total prize of IDR 2,000,000 + Gold Savings sponsored by PT. pawnshop. This clearly added to the enthusiasm of the participants who joined the event.
