Semarang (01/03) – Part of Merdeka Campus Programs is the Certified Internship program. This program aims to provide opportunities for students to learn and develop themselves through activities apart from class lectures. Then, this Certified Internship Program will be converted into a 20-credit course.

On February 17 and 18, 2023, the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Undip conducted a Business Trip to PT. LG Electronics Indonesia, Block G, MM2100 Industrial Town, West Cikarang and Main Office PT. Pindo Deli 2, Karawang, West Java. The activity was carried out to meet the company representatives and present the Internship Agreement as well as the Merdeka Belajar Campus Curriculum between FISIP Undip and PT. LG Electronics Indonesia and PT Pindo Deli Pulp and Paper Mills 2 (Sinarmas). This activity is a continuation of the previous Zoom meeting initiated by the study program administrators.

“Internship Cooperation and the Merdeka Belajar Campus Curriculum which not only involves students but is more about achieving the Tridharma of Higher Education, to achieve IKU,” said the Head of Business Administration Department of Undip, Dr. Reni Shinta Dewi, S.Sos., M.Si during the visit.

The Cooperation Agreement (PKS) of FISIP Undip with PT LG Electronics Indonesia was signed by the Dean of FISIP Undip and the Team Leader of PT LG Electronics Indonesia, namely HR Team Leader LG Electronics Indonesia, Mohammad Rachmadi and Materials Team Leader LG Electronics Indonesia, Cahyo Purnomo. Furthermore, the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between FISIP Undip and PT Pindo Deli Pulp and Paper Mills 2 (Sinarmas) was signed by the Dean of FISIP Undip and the Team of PT Pindo Deli 2 represented by the Head of HR & Mills Services, PT Pindo Deli Pulp and Paper Mills 2, Susapto Wasono Adi.

The details of the cooperation agreement stated in the cooperation agreement are the period of the agreement covering 3 (three) years, starting from the signing, and can be extended based on the agreement of the parties upon written notification issued 3 (three) months before the end of the agreement period. The scope of the agreement includes academic activities in the context of synchronizing the competencies needed by companies for Business Administration student graduates. Internship assessment parameters are carried out by the company to measure the competencies and skills of Business Administration students who take part in certified internship activities. In addition to the certified internship program, this cooperation agreement is also intended for Campus Hiring. After all, this visit activity has been carried out properly.
