As many as 18 lecturers from the Department of Business Administration took part in the lecturer certification activity (BNSP) for the cooperative companion scheme which was held for two days on 4 and 5 May 2023. This activity aims to improve the competence and quality of lecturer education in supporting the development of cooperatives as a form of economic enterprise that is important to society.

On May 4 2023, online training was held via the Zoom platform from 09.00 to 12.00. This training discusses the duties and responsibilities of cooperative assistants, as well as the skills and knowledge needed to carry out these tasks. Participants were also given material on how to plan cooperative activities, make reports, analyze cooperatives, and other related topics.

Meanwhile, on May 5 2023, the exam will be held in the form of an offline interview with assessors in the Business Administration Department room from 13.00 to 15.00. This exam aims to measure the ability of participants in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as cooperative assistants. The three assessors on duty in this exam were Arief Budi Dharma, M. Khoiruman, and Rizza Sitok.

Cooperative mentoring scheme is one of the lecturer certification schemes aimed at increasing the competence of lecturers in supporting the development of cooperatives. As cooperative assistants, lecturers are expected to be able to provide support and guidance to cooperatives in order to improve the quality, competitiveness and business development of cooperatives. Lecturer certification activities (BNSP) for this cooperative assistance scheme are carried out by the Education and Qualifications Development Agency (LPPWK). It is hoped that this activity can provide good benefits for the development of cooperatives and education in Indonesia.
