Background

The new students admission should meet the principles of credibility, equity, transparency, flexibility, efficiency, and accountability. Besides, it should not be discriminatory by taking into account the potential of the prospective students and the specificities of the higher education. The higher education institutions as the organizer of the education accept prospective students with high academic achievements and who are predicted to successfully complete their studies in the higher education institutions on time. The outstanding students who consistently show their achievements on their senior high school/Vocational School/MA are deserve to get the change to be the prospective students through the SNMPTN line.

In the framework of integrating the secondary education with the higher education, schools are given a role in the SNMPTN selection process. The schools as the educational units and  the teachers as the educators are assumed to always uphold the honor and honesty which are the principles of the character education. Therefore, schools are obliged to complete the School and Student Database (PDSS) which contains the complete and correct track records of the school’s performance and students’ academic achievement. PDSS is a database that is used as the main source of the SNMPTN data. The data organizing and processing for the purposes of the SNMPTN selection is carried out by the Higher Education Entrance Test Institution (LTMPT). LTMPT is the only standard university test provider in Indonesia.

Objectives

The objectives of the SNMPTN are

  1. Giving the chance for the students from domestic and foreign Senior High School/Vocational School/MA (Sekolah Republik Indonesia/SRI) who have excellent achievement to take the higher education in state University (PTN);
  2. Giving the chance for the state University (PTN) to get prospective students with high academic achievement.

General Provisions and The Requirements

General Provisions

  1. SNMPTN is carried out based on the result of tracking the academic achievement using the academic report and portfolios. The report used are from the first semester to fifth semester. This requirement is applied for those from Senior High School / Vocational School / MA with a three-years study period or first semester to seventh semester for those who come from Vocational School with a four-years study period.
  2. Schools whose students join the SNMPTN should have National School ID Number (NPSN) and fill in the complete and correct student achievement data in PDSS.
  3. Students who are allowed to join the selection test are those who have National Student ID Number (NISN), excellent achievement, and the academic achievement track record in PDSS.
  4. Students who are going to enroll for the SNMPTN should read the information on the page of the target universities regarding the provisions on the new student admission of the universities.

Special Provisions

Requirements for Schools

Schools whose students are allowed to join the SNMPTN are:

    1. Senior High School / Vocational School / MA which has the NPSN
    2. Filling out the School and Student Database (PDSS).

Requirements for Applicant Students

Applicant students who are allowed to join the SNMPTN test are :

  1. Students of Senior High School / Vocational School / MA who are in the last grade (12th grader) by 2021 and have excellent achievement
  2. Having the registered NISN in PDSS
  3. Having the academic scores of the 1st to 5th semester registered by their schools in PDSS or having the academic scores of the 1st to 7th semester for students from the Vocational School with 4-years study period
  4. Having the academic achievement and complying the requirements carried out by respective State University.

University’s Acceptance

The applicant students are accepted by the State University, if :

  1. Graduated from Senior High School / Vocational School / MA ;
  2. Passed the 2021 SNMPTN test; and
  3. Passed the data verification and meet the other requirements carried out by the respective University recipient.

Stages of Joining the SNMPTN

The stages of joining the SNMPTN are carried out as follows.

PDSS Registration and Verification

  1. Headmaster or the person in charge fills out the school and student database in PDSS through the http://pdss.snmptn.ac.id page.
  2. Headmaster or the person in charge get the password that will be used by the students to do the verification.
  3. Students do the verification of the track record data of the academic achievement registered by the Headmaster of the person in charge by using the NISN and password.
  4. If the students do not verify the track record data of the academic achievement (academic report) registered by the Headmaster or the person in charge, the data registered will be considered correct and cannot be changed after the verification period ends.

Ranking

  1. Student ranking is carried out by the College Entrance Test Institute (LTMPT) system according to the grades of the following subjects.
    1. Science major : Mathematics, Bahasa Indonesia, English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
    2. Social major : Mathematics, Bahasa Indonesia, English, Sociology, Economics, and Geography.
    3. Language major : Mathematics, Bahasa Indonesia, English, Indonesian Literature, Anthropology, and one of the Foreign Languages
    4. Vocational School : Mathematics, Bahasa Indonesia, English, Skill Competence (Vocational Theory and Practice).
  2. According to the ranking of the academic achievement by the LTMPT, students who have met the requirements are allowed to register the 2021 SNMPTN with the School Accreditation provisions as follows :
    1. A accreditation : the best 40 % in the school
    2. B accreditation : the best 25 % in the school
    3. C accreditation and other best 5 % in the school

SNMPTN Registration

  1. The applicant students who have met the ranking requirements carried out by LTMPT, are required to do the registration using the NISN and password to log in on the 2019 SNMPTN page http://web.snmptn.ac.id .
  2. The applicant students fill out the biodata, target Universities and study program, as well as uploading the latest formal photo and additional achievement documents (if any). The applicant students should read and understand the whole provisions carried out by the target Universities.
  3. The applicant students of the art and sports study programs are required to upload the portfolio and proof of skills documents that have been approved by the Headmaster using the guidelines that can be downloaded from the http://www.snmptn.ac.id page.
  4. The applicant students are required to print out the Kartu Bukti Pendaftar (Proof of Registration Card) as the proof of SNMPTN participant

The school and/or applicants who have difficulty accessing the Internet can fill in the PDSS and SNMPTN registration at PLASA TELKOM throughout Indonesia.

Number of University and Study Program Chosen

  1. The applicant students are allowed to choose maximum two study programs in one or two Universities.
  2. The order of the target University and study program represents the priority of the choice.
  3. The students of the vocational school are only allowed to choose relevant study programs according to the provision of the respective University.
  4. The list of study program and its student capacity of the 2021 SNMPTN can be seen on http://www.snmptn.ac.id page during the registration period.

Fee

The applicant students are free of charge. The cost of implementing the SNMPTN is fully founded by the Government.

Principles and Stages of the Selection

Selection Principles

The Selection is carried out according to the following principles:

  1. Accepting quality prospective students in academic sphere proven by their academic report and other achievements that are relevant with the chosen study programs;
  2. Considering the track record of the school performance; and
  3. Using the national selection criteria and criteria carried out by respective University in a fair, accountable, and transparent manner.

Stages of Selection

The selection is carried out with the following stages.

  1. The applicant students will be selected in the first choice University according to the order of the chosen study programs.
  2. The applicant students who choose study programs in two State Universities, if they cannot pass on the first choice, they will be automatically included in the selection in the second University chosen according to the availability of capacity.

Sanctions for Schools and / or Students Committing Fraud

Strict sanctions for schools and / or students / prospective students who commit fraud are as follows.

  1. Schools that are proven to have cheated are not included in the following year SNMPTN.
  2. Students who have passed the SNMPTN and are proven to have cheated will have their status canceled.

Bidikmisi and ADik applicants

  1. The applicant students from economically disadvantaged families can apply for Bidikmisi tuition assistance.

Background


Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SBMPTN) through the written test has shown various advantages and benefits, both for the national interest, State University, and participants. For the participants, the benefits of the joint selection are that it is more efficient, cheap, and flexible with the existence of a cross-regional mechanism. This SBMPTN from year to year has always been improved and developed in accordance with the times and technological advances. In 2016, the SBMPTN was also introduced using a Computer-Based Written Test (UTBK).

The 2020 SBMPTN is a selection for new student admissions using only UTBK results or the UTBK results and other criteria jointly set by the University. UTBK can be followed by those who are graduated in 2018, 2019 and 2020 from secondary education (Senior High School / MA / Vocational School) and equivalent, as well as the Package C graduates in 2018, 2019, and 2020. The data management for the purposes of the SBMPTN line selection is carried out by the College Entrance Test Institute (LTMPT). LTMPT is the only standard university test provider in Indonesia.


Objectives


The objectives of the SBMPTN are as follows.

  1. Selecting prospective students who are predicted to be able to complete their studies in the higher education properly and on time based on the results of the UTBK only or the results of the UTBK and other criteria set jointly by the university.
  2. Providing the opportunities for the prospective students to choose more than one Universities across regions.
  3. Accepting prospective students who are predicted to be able to complete the studies at the target state universities based on the academic score alone or the academic score and other student achievements.

General Provision


The 2020 SBMPTN is a selection test conducted by the University within the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) and the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) jointly under the coordination of the LTMPT with the selection based on the UTBK results only or the UTBK results and other criteria jointly set by the University.

Requirements and Registration Stages


The new students admission through the SBMPTN line is carried out in two stages, namely joining the UTBK and registering for the SBMPTN. The SBMPTN registration requirements are as follows.

 

  1. Participant Requirements 
    1. Senior high school / MA / Vocational school / equivalent students graduates in 2019, 2020 who already have the  degree certificate
    2. For Senior high school / MA / Vocational school / equivalent graduates in 2020 are required to have the Certificate of Graduating from the Secondary Education, at least it contains the latest identity information and color photo, signed by the headmaster and affixed with a valid stamp.
    3. Having the UTBK score
    4. Having the adequate health. So that, it will not interfere the smoothness of the study process.
    5. Having the NISN
    6. For those who choose the art and sports study programs are required to upload the PORTFOLIO
    7. The UTBK costs are borne by the participants and government subsidies.
    8. Did not pass the 2020 SNMPTN line.

 

  1. Registration Stages

The Registration stages of the 2020 SBMPTN will be carried out through the following ways on http://pendaftaran.sbmptn.ac.id page.

  1. Filling out the Biodata (except for participants who have registered at the 2020 SNMPTN).
  2. Choosing a University and study program with the provision that applicants can choose a maximum of two State Universities and choose a maximum of two study programs in one or two Universities
  3. Uploading a portfolio form *) for applicants who choose study program in arts and sports. The procedure for filling out the portfolio form can be downloaded from the http://download.sbmptn.ac.id page
  4. Uploading other documents in accordance with the 2020 SBMPTN registration requirements.

 

*) Portfolio Form

Especially for applicants of the arts and sports study programs, they are required to upload a portfolio as the additional material for the selection process in the 2020 SBMPTN. Types of the 2020 SBMPTN Portfolio are:

  3. Dance Portfolio (including SendratasikDance option)
  4. Theater Portfolio (including SendratasikTheater / Drama option)

Group of Study Program and Number of Choices


  1. The group of study programs and the number of choices in the 2020 SBMPTN are as follows.
  2. The study programs in University are divided into two groups, namely the Science and Technology (Saintek), and the social humanities (Soshum).
  3. Participants can choose a study program for a maximum of two study programs with the following conditions:
  4. If all of the study programs chosen are from the Saintek group, the participants should take the Scientific examination group.
  5. If all of the study programs chosen are from the Soshum group, the participants should take the Soshum exam group.
  6. If the chosen study program is from the Saintek and the Soshum group, the participants should take the Saintek examination group as well as the Soshum.
  7. The order in which the course of study is chosen represents the priority of the choice.
  8. The 2020 SBMPTN participants can choose a study program at any State University.

Applicants for the KIP Kuliah and ADik Program


Following information are the requirements for the KIP Kuliah and ADik applicants.

  1. Applicant students from economically disadvantaged families can apply for the KIP Kuliah Tuition assistance.
  2. Prospective participants who receive the Bidikmisi and ADik must first learn the registration procedure for the KIP Kuliah and ADik programs through their respective page as follows:

  1. Prospective participants who receive the KIP Kuliah and ADik should first register on the https://kip-kuliah.kemdikbud.go.id/ page
  2. Prospective participants who receive the KIP Kuliah and ADik and meet the requirements by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Culture should register for the UTBK on the https://pendaftaran-utbk.sbmptn.ac.id page and are not subject to an exam fee.
  3. Prospective participants who receive the KIP Kuliah and ADik and have not passed the 2020 SNMPTN may use the NISN and NPSN to register for the UTBK and are not subject to the examination fees.
  4. Prospective participants who receive the KIP Kuliah and ADik and have passed the 2020 SNMPTN are not allowed to register for the 2020 SBMPTN.

Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) opens the opportunity to be the new student candidates for the undergraduate and applied undergraduate programs through the Seleksi Bibit Unggul Berprestasi (SBUB) in 2020.

The requirements for joining this selection :

  1. Graduated in the last 3 years (2019, 2020 and 2021) from Senior High School / MA / Vocational School / Vocational MA

INDEPENDENT TEST (UM)

 

Considering the high demand from the society for the Independent Test Selection, Universitas Diponegoro will reopen the Independent Test (UM) using a portfolio of the academic report and the Online Test

REQUIREMENTS FOR JOINING THIS SELECTION :

  1. Graduates of Senior High School/ Vocational School / MA or equivalent institution, have passed the equation test, or other equivalent test (package C) in 2021, 2020 and 2019
  2. Meet the requirements according to the target study program
  3. Maximum age of 22 years

 

 REGISTRATION PROCEDURES  

  1. Participants create a registration user using their email, CLICK HERE
  2. Participants fill in their personal data and choose the UM S1 option line
  3. Participants pay the registration fee at the designated bank (Bank BNI, Bank BRI, Bank BTN, Bank Mandiri) CLICK HERE
  4. Participants fill in the portfolio data (The academc report of the 1st – 5th Semester and or other Achievement) through the application,
  5. Participants are required to upload the Statement Letter signed by the participant and his/her parent (in pdf format) and print out the participant online registration card,
  6. Participants should print out the participant card and take the test according to the schedule stated on the card

 

Choice of the Study Program Group

  1. SAINTEK : 2 choices of study program (there are 34 Undergradute SAINTEK study programs)
  2. SOSHUM : 2 choices of study program (there are 17 undergraduate SOSHUM study programs)
  3. MIXED : 2 choices of study program (there are 17 undergraduate SOSHUM study programs and 34 Undergradute SAINTEK study programs)

 

Choice of the Tuition Fee is devided into 3 groups

  1. Regular Line

The payment includes the tuition fee (Category 7 or 8) and choose the capital fee(Institutional Development Contribution) Category 1 or 2,

  1. Partnership Line

The payment includes the tuition fee of the Category 8 and filling in the Capital Fee above the value of the Category 2 Capital Fee,

  1. The Underprivilaged / Indonesian Smart Card – College (KIP-K) Holder

The tuition payments are in accordance with the KIP-K regulations and without the Capital fee

Online Registration : April 19th – June 17th, 2021 at 12.00 p.m.
Payment : April 19th – June 17th, 2021 at 15.00 p.m.
Print the Participant Card : April 211 – June 17th, 2021 at 23.59 p.m.
Online Test : June 21st – July 3rd (as stated on the card)
Selection Result Announcement July 7th, 2021

Registration Fee :

  1. Saintek/Soshum group option : Rp. 300.000,-
  2. Mixed group option : Rp. 500.000,-

The registration fees must be paid by all participants from the regular, partnership, and KIP-K line
