Semarang, July 8, 2025 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Diponegoro University received an official visit from Universitas Bina Taruna (UNBITA) Gorontalo. The UNBITA delegation was led directly by the Rector Dr. Ellys Rachman, M.Si., accompanied by Vice Rector I Mr. Yahya Antu, M.Si., Dean of the Faculty of Administrative and Social Sciences (FAIS) Mr. Kurniadi Hasan, M.AP., Head of the Business Administration Program Mrs. Sabrina Gintulangi, S.Pd., M.Pd., Head of the Public Administration Program Mr. Abdul Gandi Igirisa, S.AP., M.Si., and Head of the Cooperation Division Mrs. Marini Idham, M.Si. This visit was also attended by 70 students from the Undergraduate Program in Public Administration and Undergraduate Program in Business Administration.
The main agenda of the visit was the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the Dean of FISIP UNDIP and the Dean of FAIS UNBITA. In addition to the signing of the PKS, the activities also included an exploration of further collaboration in doctoral programs, strengthening the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, and the organization of a guest lecture.
The guest lecture was delivered by the Head of the Public Administration Department of FISIP UNDIP, Dr. AP. Dra. Tri Yuniningsih, M.Si. and the Head of the Business Administration Department, Dr. Hari Susanta Nugraha, S.Sos., M.Si. This activity provided academic insight and inspiration for the attending UNBITA students.
This visit is expected to be a strategic first step to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions in various academic and institutional fields, and to provide sustainable benefits for both parties.
