Semarang, Indonesia, 29 September 2025.<\/strong>\u00a0The Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), through\u00a0IGNITE – Inclusive Green Innovation, Transformation & Entrepreneurship<\/strong>, and supported by the\u00a0Domestic Post-doctoral (PDDN) Scheme<\/strong>, organized a\u00a0Research Workshop<\/strong>featuring\u00a0Prof. Usep Suhud, M.Si., PhD.<\/strong>, Lecturer and Researcher at Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ). The event was held\u00a0on-site at the PKM Hall, FISIP UNDIP<\/strong>, with two interrelated sessions:\u00a0“Designing Mix-Method Questionnaire”<\/em>and\u00a0“AMOS for Research”<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The program was officially opened by\u00a0Dr. Hari Susanta Nugraha, M.Si., Head of the Department of Business Administration<\/strong>, who delivered the welcoming remarks. The first session,\u00a0“Designing Mix-Method Questionnaire”<\/strong>(09.00-12.00 WIB), moderated by\u00a0Ilham Ainuddin, S.AB., M.Si.<\/strong>, focused on the design of research instruments for quantitative and mixed-method studies. The second session,\u00a0“AMOS for Research”<\/strong>\u00a0(13.00-16.00 WIB), limited to\u00a050 participants<\/strong>\u00a0and moderated by\u00a0Widayanto, S.Sos., M.Si.<\/strong>, provided hands-on training on the use of AMOS software for structural equation modelling.<\/p>\n

“Strengthening methodological capacity among our lecturers and students is essential for producing credible and relevant research,” said\u00a0Dr. Hari Susanta Nugraha<\/strong>. “This workshop helps us move beyond simply collecting data toward designing studies and interpreting AMOS outputs in ways that contribute meaningfully to business, tourism, and public policy discussions.”<\/p>\n

In his lectures,\u00a0Prof. Usep Suhud<\/strong>\u00a0elaborated on key principles of questionnaire design for quantitative and mixed-method research, including translating theoretical constructs into indicators, selecting appropriate measurement scales, and ensuring validity and reliability. In the AMOS session, he guided participants step by step through specifying measurement and structural models, interpreting\u00a0fit indices<\/em>, and reading parameter estimates for publication in reputable journals.<\/p>\n

“IGNITE<\/strong>\u00a0aims to bridge rigorous research with the needs of practitioners and policy-makers,” explained\u00a0Prof. Bulan Prabawani, Head of IGNITE<\/strong>. “By enhancing competencies in mixed-method research and structural equation modelling, we hope to further strengthen the research ecosystem within the Department of Business Administration and its contribution to sustainability and innovation agendas.”<\/p>\n

Registration was conducted online via\u00a0bit.ly\/AMOS_Adbis2025<\/strong>\u00a0and received a very positive response from the academic community. The workshop sparked lively discussions on questionnaire design, variable selection, model specification, and international publication strategies. It forms part of a broader series of research capacity-building and collaboration initiatives regularly developed by the Department of Business Administration, FISIP UNDIP.<\/p>\n
