HMPS Business Administration is an organization that aims to develop and improve the quality of education in the Department of Business Administration, FISIP, Diponegoro University. In order to prepare for the Middle Semester Examination (UTS), the HMPS Business Administration 2023 Research and Scientific Department held an event called “Saung Belajar”.
Saung Belajar is an activity organized by the HMPS Business Administration Research and Scientific Department of 2023 which aims to help students better prepare for UTS. This Saung Belajar is also held to build a sense of solidarity and togetherness among students majoring in Business Administration. This Saung Belajar was held at the Undip FISIP Auditorium for 2 days on Saturday and Sunday, April 1–2, 2023.
In Saung Belajar, students are invited to study material that will be tested at UTS with peer mentors in a more relaxed and fun way. The material studied is divided into 3 batches, namely 2022, 2021, and 2020. Each batch learns together with a tutor who helps explain the material so it’s easy to understand. The courses studied are 2020 (Business Operations Research), 2021 (Investment and Portofolio), 2022 (Basic Accounting and Business Statistics). Apart from that, students were also given practice questions and tips to face UTS better.
This event received a very positive response from students majoring in Business Administration. They felt that this event was very helpful in preparing them better for UTS. With a total of around 250 student participants. In addition, this event is also considered an event to strengthen relations between students majoring in Business Administration.
The Saung Belajar held by the HMPS Business Administration Research and Scientific Department is an innovation in improving the quality of education for Business Administration students. In a relaxed and fun way, students can study more effectively and efficiently, as well as strengthen relationships between students. Hopefully events like this can continue to be held in the Business Administration department to improve student quality.
